RF Micro-Needling

This is a procedure combining the benefits of micro-needling with radio-frequency energy to improve skin texture, tighten skin, reduce wrinkles and reduce areas of facial fat. The treatment works by creating micro-injuries in the skin with tiny needles while simultaneously delivering radiofrequency energy to stimulate collagen and elastin production.

How it works

Micro-Needling

Fine needles create controlled micro-injuries in the skin, triggering the body's natural healing response and collagen production.

Radiofrequency (RF)

The RF energy is delivered through the needles into the deeper layers of the skin, further stimulating collagen and elastin production and causing the skin to contract and tighten.

Procedure

A topical anaesthetic is applied to numb the treatment area.
The micro-needling machine delivers RF energy to the skin.
The procedure may cause mild discomfort or a warm sensation.
Redness and swelling are common side effects, but usually subside within 24 to 48 hours depending on sensitivity and aftercare.
Results may not be immediately visible and can take several weeks or months to fully develop as collagen production increases.
1 Treatment per month is initially required (a course of 3 to 6 will offer optimal results).
