Collagen Induction Therapy(CIT)

Treatments

Collagen induction therapy (CIT)

This is a cosmetic procedure using tiny needles to create controlled micro-injuries in the skin, stimulating the body’s natural healing response and boosting collagen and elastin production. This process helps improve skin texture, reduce the appearance of wrinkles and scars, and achieve a more youthful appearance.

How it works

The tiny punctures create micro-injuries, prompting the skin to repair itself. This process stimulates the production of collagen and elastin.

Procedure:

  • The skin is cleansed and a numbing cream may be applied (depending on needle depth).
  • The micro-needling device is used to create the controlled micro injuries with channels (lasting up-to 4 hours).
  • Serums or PRP/PRF may be applied to enhance absorption results
  • Improvements can be seen after just one session, but a series of treatments are recommended for deeper concerns
  • Redness and swelling can occur depending on the depth of the treatment (depending on the skins concerns).
  • 1 Treatment per month is initially required (a course will offer optimal results depending on the skins concerns).
  • £49 per treatment.
